Small Class Inclusion Program
Eden S.C.I.P is a separate unit integrated into a mainstream school environment, where dedicated teachers motivate and support learners in a nurturing, comfortable environment. Eden S.C.I.P offers small classes enabling experienced teachers to give each child the individual attention he or she needs. Children are allowed the flexibility to move from our CORE (Centre Of Remedial Education) environment into our S.C.I.P environment when they reach high school. This allows for an easy transition from primary school into high school. The school follows a mainstream syllabus parallel to the regular school which is adjusted where necessary. The unit follows an inclusion policy so that breaks, optional sport and extra murals are taken with the rest of the school. Remedial attention is given at the school where necessary. Our educators have remedial training and therapists are present at the school. S.C.I.P learners are carefully monitored and their progress is liaised with parents on a regular basis. The subjects provided by Eden open the doors for our learners to achieve new heights of self-esteem.
Staff, Educators and Therapists
The SCIP staff are here to give your child the support that they need in order to succeed. They are chosen for their ability to motivate your child to achieve their potential. Educators have been selected because of their past record of constant superb results. They are acknowledged leaders in their fields and are highly qualified, enthusiastic and capable of bringing the best out in your child. Personal support by an incomparable teaching team is the golden rule.
The Assessment and Therapy Centre
The Assessment and Therapy Centre is an essential part of our school. The Centre is one dimension of the partnership between parents, educators and other professionals. It utilises a multi-disciplinary approach to education and development for each learner who benefits from our services. We offer the services of a multitude of therapies and assessments to our learners.
Excellence through Perseverance
S.C.I.P is a small, caring, co-educational independent school that builds on a firmly established reputation of excellence spanning over 45 years.
