Eden Sport
Eden College prides itself in offering excellent holistic education which prioritizes top-class academics, however includes sport, culture, leadership and life skills in the programme. Sport plays a major role in this balanced educational offering.
Being a small school has both benefits and drawbacks – on the one hand, every child is offered an opportunity to take part and develop their skills, while on the other, the depth is lacking. Bearing this in mind, the school has achieved a number of enviable results over the years.
Certain junior soccer and hockey teams have been unbeaten in recent seasons and a number of pupils have been selected for representative teams – local, district and provincial – with a dollop of national representation for good measure.
The Eden sporting programme includes a number of ‘standard’ school sports as well as certain interesting pursuits that offer children opportunities in developing life skills beyond the norm. You can peruse the various sports displayed on this website, but are welcome to give our Sports Office a call to chat or to ask questions.
